Prof. Dr. Linda O’Riordan
Prof. Dr. Linda O’Riordan ist Professorin für International Management an der FOM Hochschule für Ökonomie & Management in Essen. Sie lehrt dort MBA- und Bachelor-Studenten in den Fächern: Business Strategy; Unternehmensführung; CSR & Corporate Governance; Interkulturelle Kompetenzen; Marketing, Sales und Customer Relationship Management (CRM); sowie Management Consulting.
Ihre Forschung konzentriert sich schwerpunktmäßig auf das verantwortliche Handeln von Unternehmen und die nachhaltigen Managementansätze. Ihre Forschungsergebnisse werden regelmäßig in international anerkannten Fachzeitschriften, z.B. dem Journal of Business Ethics, veröffentlicht. Sie ist Herausgeberin von mehreren Fachbüchern. Sie hatte u.a. eine führende Funktion als Herausgeberin bei der Veröffentlichung des Buchs "New Perspectives on Corporate Social Responsibility: Locating the Missing Link". Zudem plant sie die Publikation eines weiteren CSR-Buchs mit dem Arbeitstitel " Managing Sustainable Stakeholder Relationships: Corporate Approaches to Responsible Management " das demnächst beim Springer-Verlag erscheinen wird.
Frau O’Riordan erhielt einen Bachelortitel in Business Studies von der University of Limerick, Ireland sowie einen MBA-, M.Sc.- und Ph.D.-Titel von der University of Bradford, UK. Sie ist als Gastdozentin an der Fachhochschule Düsseldorf und an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf tätig. Neben ihrer akademischen Expertise verfügt sie über langjährige Management- und Beratungs-Erfahrung in unterschiedlichen Wirtschaftssektoren.
